Our Story
Hi, I’m Demetria, and my love for travel began in the most unexpected way—at the movies! It all started in 1998 when "How Stella Got Her Groove Back" hit theaters. Inspired by Stella’s adventure in Jamaica and her romance with Winston, I decided I had to find my own slice of paradise. So, I did what any determined woman would do: I planned my first-ever trip—a girls’ getaway to Montego Bay.
Crazy as it sounds, that was my very first time on a plane! The trip was unforgettable, but I soon realized something bigger: I wasn’t just searching for a Winston; I was missing out on the entire world!
That Jamaican adventure sparked something in me, but it was another movie that pushed me to take my travels even further. When I watched "Last Holiday," starring Queen Latifah, it struck a deep chord. In the film, her character, who’d led a safe and routine life, is misdiagnosed with a terminal illness and suddenly starts living fearlessly. She sold everything, booked her dream vacation, and experienced life in ways she’d never imagined before.
What hit me hardest was the lesson: Don’t wait to live your dreams—tomorrow isn’t promised.
From then on, I made a commitment to myself: I wouldn’t just travel; I’d explore, experience, and embrace every opportunity. And now, I’m on a mission to help others do the same. Whether you’re new to travel or a seasoned explorer, I’m here to show you how to make every journey meaningful, unforgettable, and maybe even life-changing.
How It Began
For years, I made it a point to travel at least once a year, but everything changed in 2017 when I discovered something incredible—I could actually earn income from the travel I was already booking. It was a total game-changer! I had been booking trips for myself all along, so starting my own travel agency just made sense. Why not get paid for what I was already doing?
Once I launched my agency and began sharing my adventures on social media, something amazing happened. People started following along with my travels, virtually experiencing the stunning destinations I visited. Before I knew it, friends, family, and even acquaintances were reaching out, asking me to help them plan their own dream vacations!
Seeing how my passion for travel inspired others to explore the world was the push I needed to turn my love for travel into a full-fledged business. Now, I get to help others create unforgettable journeys, just like the ones that changed my life.
Top Destinations
I’ve been fortunate enough to visit some incredible places, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would hands down be the Maldives! There's nothing quite like the stunning turquoise ocean and those iconic over-water bungalows—it’s an experience you truly can’t miss.
That said, my love for travel has taken me to some other amazing destinations: the vibrant streets of Amsterdam, the bustling energy of Mumbai, the romance of Paris, the luxury of Dubai, and the breathtaking beauty of Peru. Each place has left a mark on me in its own unique way.
While I do love a good beach day or a relaxing cruise, what really captivates me is learning about different people and cultures. That, to me, is the true beauty of traveling. It’s not just about the destinations—it’s about the connections, the stories, and the perspectives you gain from experiencing life through the eyes of others.
